A lot of work needs doing to my home which has been neglected for the last 20 years. I am not a professional plasterer, joiner, builder or tradesman but I am having a go at sorting out my little terraced house myself and thought others may like to come along for the ride. On this channel I document the work I carry out not as a 'How to' guide but as a how I do it show. Some trades people may wince and shake their head at my antics but perhaps it may inspire you to have a go yourself. Along the way I will be replacing windows, tiling walls, plastering ceilings and painting & decorating. I have a little 8ft x 6ft workshop at the bottom of the garden where I will be making furnishings, fixtures and fittings. At the end of the project I will have a comfortable and efficient home to enjoy my retirement in. If it all goes pair shaped at least I will have a financially viable property to sell so I can go live in a tent in a field somewhere!
