Welcome to Ham Radio Basics ! If you are new to ham radio this is the place for you ! I've been a licensed Amatuer Extra (KW4QO) since 2014 but only recently have had the time to devote to this wonderful hobby. My goal is to make ham radio fun, enjoyable, and rewarding for you. What can you expect to see ? How to's, product reviews, live streams, giveaways and much much more ! My focus will be to show you the basics including getting setup, portable operations, HT's, and so much more. This will all be explained and shown in an easy to understand manner for you to follow along. Several of my passions are QRP ops, Antenna's (lots of them), and how to study for and obtain your Ham Radio license.
