This channel is primarily about my two great passions: the outdoors and ham radio. However, at the same time I earned my ham radio license in 2020, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Facing one's mortality square in the eye at the same time as embarking on the new and exciting world of Summits on the Air (SOTA) and Parks on the Air (POTA) has changed my perspective on what it's all about. Most of my content will be about ham radio and activating summits and parks with an intermingling of nature observations of the area and philosophical musings on how to live with the limited time you have left.
